PhD Entrance Exam 2022: JRF will get a chance in PhD before the entrance exam

:- About 1500 seats are vacant in different subjects in PhD. In these vacant seats, 60 percent seats will be given to JRF and NET qualified candidates. The remaining 40 percent seats will be filled through the joint entrance examination of the university

Meerut: Chaudhary Charan Singh University is going to start the Joint Entrance Examination for admission to Ph.D. Before that successful candidates in JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) will get a chance for direct admission. They will not appear in the entrance test. After this the applications for the Joint Entrance Examination can be started.

About 1500 seats are vacant in different subjects in PhD. In these vacant seats, 60 percent seats will be given to JRF and NET qualified candidates. The remaining 40 percent seats will be filled through the joint entrance examination of the university. After about six years, a joint entrance examination is being conducted at the university level for admission to these seats. The entire process for PhD admission has been decided.

More than 200 seats can be admitted from JRF. Students who have done their masters in various subjects including MA, MSc, M. Com, two-hour entrance examination, if they want to take the entrance examination of PhD, then they have to take two-hour entrance examination. There will be 100 multiple choice-based questions. In this, 50 questions will be asked from the subject and 50 questions from Research Methodology. All questions will carry two marks. Soon the notification for the same will be issued.
