Online State Level Competition -Cum-Two-day Webinar on Psychology Day.

Asansol: Kazi Nazrul University is going to conduct Online State Level Competition -Cum-Two-day Webinar on Psychology Day.

The Online State Level Competition by Kazi Nazrul University will be conducted for two day on May 10^th2022 and May 13^th 2022.

The State Level Competition is open to all the students of UG, PG and Scholars of M.Phil/PhD admitted, having valid registration number in any branch of Psychology at any University and College within West Bengal.

The Participants interested to take part in the Competition-Cum- Two-Day Workshop need to send their replies to the question “Why did I choose Psychology as a career?” in 250 words. Participants can express themselves either in Hindi, Bengali and English.

Candidates those whose answer will be shortlisted will get the chance to tell their stories in the form of live webinar (extempore) presentation. The timing of approximately 10 minutes will be allotted to each participant.

Steps for participants and competition:

1. For the competition, participants must have a valid registration number .The validity is need to be mentioned in the card or Certificate. Participants can also send their certificate issued by HOD/Coordinator. Competitors need to submit a copy of their registration certificate before the webinar. If the validity of the registration has expired candidate will no longer be part of this competition.

3. Participants have to send their copy to applied.psychology@knu.ac.in in a ‘doc’ format only.
4. Shortlisted participants will be informed by email 2 days prior the webinar/extempore.

The last date for candidates to apply for the webinar is on April 30, 2022 by 11p.m.

Schedule for the event:

Webinar/Extempore Day I: May 10, 2022 (3p.m. to 5p.m.)

Webinar/Extempore Day II: May 13, 2022 (4:30p.m. to 6:30p.m.)

Rules of Submission:

1. Submission shall be rejected if:

• Any format other than ‘doc/.docx’.
• Length of the answer is more than 250 words.
• It is plagiarized.
• If the submission rules are violated.

1. Submission must be done in the given email id only (i.e., applied.psychology@knu.ac.in)
2. Subjectline for submission is ‘Psychology Day_Submission_UG/PG/M.Phil-PhD’.
3. Following details must be mentioned in the text body of the email submission: Name, Currently Pursuing Degree, Name of the Department, Registration number and duration, Contact Number, Highest Academic Degree Achieved.
4. In any situation of conflict, the decision of Convenors and Chairperson shall be final.
