Offline Classes restarts at West Bengal State University.

: West Bengal State University resumes the offline classes on Friday, May 13.

Kolkata:  West Bengal State University resumes the offline classes on Friday, May 13.

After the Press Conference done by West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee and meeting held on April 27, several schools and colleges in West Bengal were shut down for, the temporary period resulting the weather conditions felt all over Bengal for past few days.

 Seeing the change in weather, teachers’ association of the college and University wrote to Vice-Chancellor Mahua Das for the resumption of Offline classes following a dip in temperature and accordingly said that many students were resource constrained and were unable to attend online classes.

After, it Tapan Datta, the officiating registrar, said:” As directed by the competent authority the notice was issued for resumption of offline classes both at the affiliated colleges and University”.

The decision of the University will further help those students who were struggling to attend online classes because of being on the other side of digital divide.
