NTA Introduces Extended Exam Time for PwD and PwBD Candidates in JEE Mains 2025

NTA grants up to four hours for PwD and PwBD candidates, with a scribe facility available for those in need.

New Delhi , 26 October: In a positive development for candidates with disabilities, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that PwD (Persons with Disabilities) and PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates will be granted additional compensatory time for the JEE Mains 2025 exam. These candidates will now be allowed up to four hours to complete the exam, ensuring a more accessible testing environment. 

Additionally, a scribe facility will be available for those who require it, provided they present the relevant certificates. The official schedule for the JEE Mains 2025 is expected to be released by November 2024, with registration details to be made available on the NTA website.
