Mahendragarh : The National Cadet Corps (NCC) wing is going to be established at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh. In this regard, a letter has been received from the Commanding Officer, NCC, Narnaul. On this occasion the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the establishment of NCC wing in the University would prove useful for the students. Till now the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Youth Red Cross units were working in the University, after which NCC wing will also be available.

Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Associate NCC Officer informed that permission letter has been granted in this regard by the Commanding Officer of 16 Haryana BN NCC, Narnaul. He informed that the University has got 80 seats under the fully self-funded scheme of NCC Army Wing. In this sequence, efforts have been started by the University for the introduction of this wing. For which the process of registration of students is being started from this session itself. Dr. Ramesh Kumar said that after the registration process, it will start operating its various activities.
