New Delhi. : The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2025 registrations have officially begun. Candidates can apply online at cetcell.mahacet.org until February 15, 2025. Late applications with an additional fee will be accepted until February 22, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Class 12 students or those appearing for the Class 12 exam in 2025 are eligible to apply. Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects, along with one optional subject from the following:
- Chemistry
- Biotechnology
- Biology
- Technical Vocational Subject
- Computer Science, IT, or Informatics Practices
- Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies
Exam Pattern
The MHT CET 2025 is divided into two groups:
- PCB Group: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
- PCM Group: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
Key features of the exam pattern:
- Approximately 20% of questions are based on the Class 11 syllabus, and 80% on Class 12.
- Questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will follow the JEE Mains standard, while Biology questions align with NEET standards.
- No negative marking for incorrect answers.
Tentative Exam Schedule
- PCB Group: April 9 to April 17, 2025 (excluding April 10 and 14)
- PCM Group: April 19 to April 27, 2025 (excluding April 24)
- Final dates and admit card details will be announced later.
Application Fees
- General Category: ₹1,000
- Reserved Categories, PwD, Orphans, and Transgender Candidates: ₹800
