New Delhi. : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the addition of 138 new MBBS seats in the NEET Undergraduate (UG) 2025 Round 3 seat matrix. The update, released on October 4, 2025, aims to expand opportunities for medical aspirants across several government and ESIC medical colleges in India.
According to the official notice available on mcc.nic.in
- , candidates can now include these newly added seats while filling their choices for Round 3 counselling. The MCC has also indicated that more seats may be added later, prompting an extension of the choice filling process until further notice.
New MBBS Seats Added Across States
Here’s a state-wise breakdown of the additional seats introduced in Round 3:
Delhi (NCT):
- ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Basaidarapur, New Delhi has added seats under the IP University and Children/Widows (CW) quotas across multiple categories, including BC, EWS, SC, ST, OP, and PH.
Gujarat:
- ESIC Medical College, Naroda (Ahmedabad) has introduced new seats under the ESI quota, covering BC, EWS, OP, SC, ST, and PH categories.
Haryana:
- ESIC Medical College, Faridabad has expanded its intake under both All India and ESI quotas, adding seats for OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PH candidates.
Maharashtra:
- ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Andheri (Mumbai) has included additional seats across BC, EWS, OP, SC, and ST categories.
Punjab:
- ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana has also added seats under the ESI quota, available for BC, EWS, OP, SC, ST, and PH categories.
Uttar Pradesh:
- Autonomous State Medical College, Amethi has expanded its MBBS intake under the All India quota, adding seats for BC, OP, SC, and ST candidates.
