Haryana :- The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh will now offer the new flagship programme named as M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) for the Pharmacy Graduates who wish to build a future in the field of Pharmacology. The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences of the University is already runningM. Pharm. (Pharmacognosy)programme duly approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The Vice-Chancellor of the University,Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar described this course important for the availability of trained youth in the field of Drug discovery and research, keeping in view the demand for specialists and professionals in the field of drug discovery. Expressing happiness over the availability of this course in the University, he said that it would certainly help in meeting the growing demands of trained youth in the Pharmaceutical industries and clinical research organizations.Prof.NeelamSangwan, Dean, School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences & Dean, Research also congratulated the faculties of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences for this achievement

According to the approval received by the University, the path of programmehas been paved from 2023-24 Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences informed that CUH applied for the approval of M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) toPCI in December, 2022. The department has sufficient facilities and infrastructure for running this course. Further,he said that the process of admission to this course would be started through open counsellingfor the session 2023-24. The notification for the admission shall be displayed on the website of Central University of Haryana and published in the leading Newspapers for wide circulation.On this achievement, Dr. Dinesh Kumar expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, the Registrar Prof. Sunil Kumar, Prof.NeelamSangwan, Dean, School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences & Dean, Research and also appreciated the contribution of the teachers of the department. The department will be a pace setting in the state of Haryana.
