Pune: A great opportunity for the students to experience the SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) examination through the SLAT Trial Run by SLS Pune that has been announced. The SLAT Trial Run by SLS Pune will be conducted on Thursday, 31st March 2022.

Anxiety and exam fear are the aspects that take over even after students prepare well for the examination. Hence, to lift up their confidence and help students have a quick run-through of the exam and their preparations, SLS Pune has scheduled this trial before the final SLAT 2022 attempt. The university shares that it feels immensely satisfied as it is getting a chance to help in the making of the bright future of our country in the legal world.

The Director of SLS Pune, Prof. Shashikala Gurpur has always been keen and active when it comes to the future of our country, hence she quotes, ”We at SLS Pune aim in making students intellectual professionals by shaping/readying them for the dynamic future, and this SLAT Trial Run has been introduced with a motive of getting our future aspirants ready with the life-changing challenge coming their way, The SLAT Exam.”

The SLAT Trial Run slot bookings will be live soon and here are some important points to note before applying for the SLAT Trial Run 2022.A student will only be eligible for the Trial Run if the registration and the payment process is completed by 28th March 2022. Only after the before said process, the student will have the access to book slots for the SLAT Trial Run. The slot bookings will commence the very next day on the 29th March 2022, from 2:00 PM.

Three slots shall be provided to the students, to choose as per their convenience. Thus the SLAT Trial Run will be conducted between the timings 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The last day to book the slots for the SLAT Trial Run is 31st March 2022 by 12:00 PM. Students are instructed to book their slots before the last date to avoid any kind of inconvenience. The SLAT Trial Run will be an online, objective type questions test. It will consist of 5 sections namely, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge, just like the actual SLAT Exam.

All the sections will have 12 questions each that are to be answered by the students. The duration of the SLAT Trial Run will be 60 minutes. Each question will carry one mark. And there is no negative marking. Students need not panic in case of a punching wrong answer for the asked question as one can change the answer at any time during the course time of the test. Answering the questions in a particular order is not mandatory, students can jump from one question to another. Students to note that the marks achieved in the SLAT Trial run are only for student’s reference and practice. These marks won’t have any impact on the actual SLAT examination.

This trial may also have a different feel and look compared to the actual SLAT exam. While attempting the trial run the students must click against the option which they feel is correct in order to attempt the question. To hop on to a question ahead or before the current question, click Next or Previous respectively. To avoid students missing any question in the process of recalling and coming back to the same question, a flag button is provided which marks the question and reminds the students to come back to it. The “Section Summary” will allow the students to answer a specific question. After answering the questions, click on the submit option on the last question slide in order to submit the trial for assessment successfully.
