Last Date Extended for Registration of 6-Month Bridge Course in Primary Teacher Education
New Delhi. : The competent authority has approved a one-time extension of the registration deadline for the 6-Month Certificate Course (Bridge) in Primary Teacher Education, following requests received from various stakeholders.
According to the official notification issued in continuation of Notification No. 07/2025 dated November 25, 2025, the last date for registration has now been extended up to midnight of January 19, 2026 (Monday).
No Further Extension After January 19
Authorities have clearly stated that no further extension will be granted under any circumstances after the revised deadline. All eligible in-service primary teachers have been advised to complete their registration within the extended timeline to avoid missing the opportunity.
The extension has been approved as a special one-time measure, keeping in view the requests from teachers and education stakeholders.
Who Should Apply
The Bridge Course is meant for eligible in-service primary teachers who are required to complete the six-month certification as part of professional qualification and compliance requirements.
Teachers who have not yet completed their registration are urged to do so well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. The notification has been issued with the approval of the Competent Authority and is signed by S. Vijaya Kumar, Director (SSS).
