Gurugram: To develop the skill of non-flame dishes, a weekly activity ‘Cooking without fire’ was organized at KIIT World School for Classes Ist and IInd.

The aim of the activity was to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. It was conducted with a view to creating awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire.

The students prepared healthy dishes like ‘Sprouted Bhel, Orange Tang and Cheese Biscuit Canopy’ using easy and quick recipes. They served the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way. Through this activity the students have learnt culinary skills, appreciating the hard work put into cooking.

KIIT World School Principal Neelima Kamrah said that these types of activities help the students to develop culinary skills at a young age. It also provides a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision-making skills but also helps them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
