Gurugram :: KIIT World School, Sohna Road and KIIT Junior Sector 46 organized a Dandiya dance program for Pre-Primary students and their parents on the occasion of Dussehra. Festival was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm . The students from classes I and II kept the h performed a skit from the Ramayana that reinforced the idea that good always triumphs over evil by illustrating Lord Rama's victory over Ravana.

KIIT World School, Sohna Road, held a joyous Dussehra festival that included a competition for children to act out their favourite mythical figures in wonderfully prepared costumes. Chopai and Doha recitation competitions were also organized for the children on this occasion. Revan Chaurasia, of class 2, imitated the famous character of Ramayana "Lord Parashuram" and Bhuvik recite Hanuman Chalisa . The students were awarded with certificates for their excellent performance.

Mom preneurs put up their stalls to showcase their home businesses of food, accessories, clothes, candles etc. The school gave them an opportunity to share their products with a larger group.

KIIT world School Principal Neelima Kamrah praised the performance of students and said Dussehra is thus considered an auspicious occasion because it serves as a constant reminder that truth always triumphs. The legend also motivates us to follow the path of our duty.
