Delhi, : Ms. Fatemah Rizvi, a first-year M.Sc. Virology student at the Multidisciplinary Centre for Advanced Research and Studies (MCARS), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has been awarded a prestigious scholarship with a grant of Rs 6.0 lakhs by the Reliance Foundation.

The Reliance Foundation selected her through a rigorous nationwide process and recognized her academic achievements, demonstration of leadership, and potential for success in her future career. The expert panelists were impressed by her values of excellence, growth mindset, leadership potential, community commitment, integrity, and courage.

Ms. Rizvi expressed her sincere gratitude to the faculty members of MCARS, Dr. Jawed Iqbal, Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, Dr. Mohan Joshi, Dr. Somlata, Dr. Jyotishankar Raychaudhuri, Dr. Amit Sharma, and Dr. Arumugam Madhumalar. She is indebted for invaluable guidance and advice of Dr. Jawed Iqbal and Dr. Mohan Joshi.
