New Delhi: The Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) organised a workshop with the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSST) from 15th to 19 February. 2023. The aim of the workshop was to prepare a Secondary and Senior Secondary Learner’s Glossary of Political Science/Social Sciences.

As per the official notice, several experts in Social Sciences from different parts of the country joined the workshop. The meeting was supervised by Prof. Girish Nath Jha, Chairman, Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology, Dr. Shahzad Ahmad Ansari, Assistant Director, Political Science In-Charge, and Prof. Naved Jamal. 

Keeping New Education Policy (NEP) in view, The workshop sought to create a glossary for vernacular medium students and promote the usage of Hindi and other languages.
