JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Concluded: Check Result Date & Answer Key Schedule

New Delhi. ; The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully wrapped up the JEE (Main) – 2026 Session 2, conducted between April 2 and April 8, 2026. The exam saw a massive turnout, with approximately 11.23 lakh candidates appearing across 566 centres globally.

High Turnout and Global Reach

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) was held in 304 Indian cities and 14 international locations. For Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), attendance remained high at 93%, while Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) saw approximately 73% attendance. NTA highlighted that Aadhaar authentication reached a 97% success rate, ensuring a secure examination process.

Overcoming Challenges

The NTA took several proactive steps to ensure no student was left behind:

  • Middle East Support: Facilitated rescheduling for candidates in disrupted regions with help from Indian Missions.
  • Riyadh Power Fix: After a power outage on April 5, the exam was swiftly rescheduled and completed by April 8.
  • Manipur & CBSE Coordination: Exams were conducted smoothly despite local disruptions in Manipur, and schedules were strictly aligned to avoid any overlap with CBSE Class XII Board exams.

What’s Next? Key Dates for Aspirants

Candidates can look forward to the following timeline for post-exam activities:

  • April 9, 2026: Official Question Papers will be released for all shifts.
  • April 11, 2026: Provisional Answer Keys and Response Sheets are expected. Candidates can challenge keys for a fee of ₹200 per question.
  • April 20, 2026: Final Results for Paper 1 are likely to be declared.
