Kolkata: Jadavpur University is going to organize an interview for the recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DST-NGP sponsored project.

Jadavpur University is going to organize an interview for JRF under the sponsored project entitled “Modelling geographically varying relationships of COVID-19 outcomes with socioeconomic and environmental factors for predictive risk analysis” with the fellowship of consolidated salary Rs.31000/-p.m.+HRA.

The candidates those who are interested and are willing to apply in this project must have qualification in M.E./M.Tech degree in Computer.Sc and Engg/ Electronics Engg/ Information Technology/ Data Science or Post Graduate degree in any discipline of Earth Science/ Geoinformatics/ Special Data Science or equivalent. The candidates applying for the post also have to qualify in GATE/NET examination.

Further, it asks for the desirable qualification of the candidate as Knowledge of programming in C/C++, Java/Python and/or Matlab. Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in related fields.

The selected fellow will work under the supervision of Prof.Sarbani Roy, Principal Investigator of the project, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University up tp the termination of the project.
