The Indian Institute of Management Kochi (IIM-K) campus has enrolled 200 participants in its executive MBA programme. This year’s course batch includes 200 students, with four international participants: two from Saudi Arabia, one from Kuwait, and one from Germany. Female candidates comprise a quarter of the batch, at 24 per cent.
Additionally, over three-quarters of the students reside outside the state.
To accommodate participants from outside Kerala, this batch will feature a one-weekend cohort in person and two-weekday cohorts offered online, read a statement from IIM-K. The batch has a diverse range of participants, including those from the government sector, PSUs, logistics and supply chain management, and healthcare and education. Also, the IT and ITES sector has the highest representation at 35 per cent, followed by manufacturing (12 per cent), healthcare and education (8 per cent), and banking and financial services (7 per cent).
Moreover, the institute has introduced new courses, including a one-year Post Graduate Program in Business Leadership (2019), an MBA in Finance, and an MBA in Liberal Studies & Management (2020), added the statement.
Since its establishment in 2013, the campus recently celebrated the induction ceremony for its 11th batch (2024-2026) of the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP). Dr Aravind Srinivasan, Chief Medical Officer and Director of Projects at Aravind Eye Care System, served as the chief guest for the induction ceremony, along with Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode.
Established in 2013 at Infopark, Kochi, the IIM Kozhikode satellite campus is dedicated to Executive Education. IIM Kozhikode also holds the distinction of launching a PhD (Practice Track) program for working professionals.
