Kolkata, September 17, 2025 : IIM Calcutta has been granted an extension of AACSB accreditation for its business degree programs based on the recommendation by the AACSB International Board of Directors' Peer Review Team. The Continuous Improvement Review Committee has agreed with this, and the AACSB International Board of Directors has also approved it.
With this extension of AACSB accreditation, IIM Calcutta continues its status as one of the top business schools in the world to achieve this recognition, which serves as a global standard for excellence in management education. IIM Calcutta also holds accreditations from AMBA and EQUIS, making it a "triple-crowned" institute with accreditations from the three major global accreditation bodies for management education. It is, in fact, the first Indian B-School to achieve "triple-crowned" in international accreditation.
