New Delhi. : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has re-extended the deadline for fresh admissions for the July 2024 session to October 31. This extension applies to all programmes except for semester-based and certificate programmes. Initially, the deadline was set for October 15, but it has now been moved to the end of the month. Prior to October 15, the registration deadline had been September 30 for the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes.
How to Apply for IGNOU Fresh Admission 2024
Students can register for the July 2024 session by following these steps:
- Visit the official IGNOU website – ignou.ac.in
- Click on the ‘Register Online’ tab, then select ‘Fresh Admissions’
- Proceed to the ‘New Registrations’ tab
- Fill in the required registration details
- Set a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’
- Complete all necessary information and submit the form
- Use the login details received via email and phone number to log in and continue filling out the application form
- Choose the desired programme for study
- Submit the registration form
- Students can find the list of online programmes at iop.ignouonline.ac.in.
IGNOU Extends December 2024 Term End Exam (TEE) Registration Deadline
In a related update, IGNOU has extended the deadline for registration for the December 2024 Term End Examination (TEE) for both ODL and online programmes. Students can now submit the application form without a late fee until October 20. For those applying between October 22 and October 31, a late fee of Rs 1100 will be applicable. The previous deadline of October 16 has now been extended to October 20.
