New Delhi: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has launched an initiative under the SEED (Scheme for Economic Empowerment of De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes) to provide free, high-quality coaching for students belonging to De-notified Tribes (DNT), Nomadic Tribes (NT), and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (SNT).
The scheme aims to help eligible students prepare for leading competitive examinations, including NEET, JEE Main, CLAT, NDA, TOEFL, SAT, CA-CPT, RRB, Banking, Insurance, State Police, and CPL Courses.
To qualify, applicants must belong to DNT, NT, or SNT communities, have passed or be pursuing Class 12, and come from families with an annual income of up to ₹8 lakh. Candidates must not already be availing coaching benefits under any other government scheme.
The government will cover coaching fees up to ₹1.20 lakh, along with additional benefits. Students may choose any coaching institute of their preference, either online or offline.
The last date to apply is September 15, 2025, and applications can be submitted online.
