New Delhi. :Google has officially opened applications for its Student Researcher Internship and Apprentice Programme 2026, offering eligible students an opportunity to contribute to large-scale, real-world research projects. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the Google Careers website, with the deadline set for February 26, 2026.
The Student Researcher Programme is designed to immerse students in live research initiatives that align with Google’s key scientific and technological priorities. Eligibility Criteria

Preferred Qualifications
Google has indicated that preference may be given to candidates who are enrolled full-time in degree programmes within the EMEA region and intend to return to their studies after completing the internship. Additional advantages include prior research experience through internships, laboratory work, or professional roles, contributions to research communities such as conference or journal publications, and proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Java, MATLAB, Go, Python, or similar languages.
