Goa University Invites Entries for AI Short Video Campus Competition Ahead of IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026

Students and faculty can showcase AI research, projects, and campus innovations through short videos by February 8

Goa: Goa University’s Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) has announced a campus-level short video competition titled “AI for Atmanirbhar Bharat: HEI Pre-Summit Engagements towards IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026.” The initiative is part of the national build-up to the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026 and aims to highlight how artificial intelligence is being used, taught, and explored within higher education institutions.

  • The competition is open to faculty, students, and alumni of Goa University.

  • Entries must be submitted as short videos in any one of five categories:

    • Faculty Spotlight (AI research and perspectives)

    • AI in Campus Life (academic, administrative, or student use of AI)

    • Student AI Projects Showcase (with demos)

    • AI Tools Tutorial Series

    • AI Career Path Stories (alumni or senior students)

  • Video duration ranges from 2 to 7 minutes, depending on category.

  • Videos must be recorded in landscape (16:9), Full HD (1080p) format, with no embedded watermarks.

  • Submissions should be emailed to director.di3p@unigoa.ac.in along with participant details.

  • Last date for submission: February 8, 2026.

Through this competition, Goa University is encouraging its academic community to engage creatively with AI and contribute to national conversations on technology, innovation, and self-reliance. Selected entries will form part of the university’s representation at the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026, offering participants visibility beyond the campus.
