Haryana: Five students of B.Voc. Retail and Logistics Management of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh got placement as soon as they had completed their graduation. These students have got employment in Warehousing Express Logistics.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor said that skill has great importance in human life. Through skill, students can easily achieve their goal. He said that skill development based B. Voc. Retail and Logistics Management program is constructed on the basic pillars of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which aims to provide employable education to the students and like the previous sessions, in this session also students are getting selected in various reputed institutions as soon as they complete the degree. The Vice Chancellor said that the employment opportunities provided to the students are the result of the efficient guidance of the teachers and the hard work of the students for three years.
Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Coordinator, Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development said that Mohit Maurya, Deepak Lal, Uttam, Sunil and Sumit Kumar are studying in B.Voc. Retail and Logistics Management, got employment as they completed their graduation degree. He said that the B. Voc. Retail and Logistics Management program is based on theoretical and practical knowledge, pursuing which students are becoming a part of important institutions of the corporate world like previous years.
Dr. Suyash Mishra, Coordinator, Retail and Logistics Management said that in Warehousing Express Logistics, which provides hyperlocal warehouse storage and delivery solutions, students have been selected through their practical knowledge and skills, written test, group discussion and interview. He said that special emphasis has been given in the Department on skill education and training of students so that the path of employment of the students should be smooth. He said that along with courses based on the principles of basic education, industrial visits, expert lectures and industrial training are organized from time to time in the department, which has helped in the all-round development of the students.
Consequently, the students of the department are getting selected in reputed institutes like Reliance Retail, Future Retail Express Logistics, Om Logistics, Suntech Express Logistics. He also said that the department will continue to make efforts for selection of students in various companies.
