Mahendergarh : The Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology and IEEE SB, Central University of Haryana (CUH),
Mahendergarh organized an expert lecture on 'Reliability Modelling and Evaluation of Engineering Systems'. The session featured Prof. G.L.
Pahuja from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, a highly respected figure in the field of reliability engineering. Prof. Tankeshwar
Kumar, Vice Chancellor, School of Engineering and Technology on this occasion.
Prof. Phool Singh, Dean of SOET, and Prof. Akash Saxena, HoD, Department of Electrical Engineering, welcomed the expert. The lecture is
started by the introduction by Ms. Poonam Sharma, chair IEEE Student branch, at CUH. Dr. Ravita, STA, Department of Electrical Engineering,
introduce the speaker in brief. Prof. G.L. Pahuja delivered an in-depth presentation, discussing the essential role that reliability modeling plays in
the design, maintenance, and evaluation of engineering systems. His lecture covered advanced topics such as predictive modeling, risk analysis,
and system failure prevention, all while emphasizing the importance of reliability in ensuring safety and performance across industries. Prof.
Pahuja also shared valuable insights from his research and industry experience, providing practical examples to help bridge the gap between
theory and real-world applications.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and researchers, all keen to gain a deeper understanding of reliability in
engineering. The interactive session allowed attendees to explore the latest advancements in the field, and Prof. Pahuja addressed questions from
participants, providing clarity on various reliability challenges. The lecture concluded with a formal vote of thanks, acknowledging Prof. Pahuja's
contribution and the organizing efforts of the Department of Electrical Engineering by Dr. Kalpana Chauhan, Assistant professor, Department of
