Mahendragarh : BabasahebBhimraoAmbedkar was the savior of the whole society, the installation of his statue in the University inspires the younger generation to establish a society devoid of caste and economy based exploitation. Dr. Ambedkar is not a leader of any caste and society but a symbol of knowledge. It was he who gave India that constitutional system, through which the country is progressing on the path of progress. Dr. Ambedkar should be recognized for providing the fundamental right to education in the constitution rather than the upliftment of the society. Today, Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi is also moving on the path shown by Dr. Ambedkar, Ram ManoharLohia and Pt. DeenDayalUpadhyay and is trying to make education, development and knowledge available to the last person of the society. This view was expressed by the Union Minister of State, Mr. Kaushal Kishore while unveiling the statue of Dr. BhimraoAmbedkar, established at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. On this occasion, Shri Kaushal Kishore also administered an oath to build a drug-free Haryana, a drug-free society and a drug-free family. Mr. Kaushal Kishore also inaugurated a new block of Boys's hostel in the University with an accommodation facility for 315 students and also laid the foundation stone of water treatment plant to be built at a cost of about 13 crores. Former Education Minister of Haryana Prof. Ram Bilas Sharma was present while the program was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar.

In this program organized at the University campus, Mr. Kaushal Kishore described the role of the younger generation and educational institutions in the development of the country important and appreciated the various efforts made by the Central University of Haryana. He said that the government led by Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi at the Center is on the path of development by following the policy of self-reliant India, Make in India, ‘SabkaSaathSabkaVikas’. On this occasion, former Education Minister, Government of Haryana, Prof. Ram Bilas Sharma, while addressing, drew attention to the progress of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi. On this occasion, he also highlighted the role of educational institutions and teachers as well as mentioned the lessons taught by the strong central government to the neighboring country Pakistan.

Distinguished guests were welcomed in the program organized at Professor Moolchand Sharma Auditorium of the University and the Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar while presenting the welcome address, apprised about the progress of the University. While giving information about various remarkable efforts of the University in his address, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar informed about the future plans also. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that as an educational institution, it is our responsibility that we should together develop such youth power who can build a new India. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor administered a pledge to realize the dream of self-reliant India and emphasized on developing various facilities for research, innovation and skill development along with studies and teaching in the University. He said that all of us will do this work together and will cooperate in fulfilling the needs of the government and society. After this, colorful presentations prepared by the Office of Dean Student Welfare of the University under the direction of Deputy Dean Student Welfare Dr. Monika Malik, captivated everyone. Among them, poetry recitation centered on Dr. BhimraoAmbedkar, folk dance, street plays focused on drug addiction were prominent. At the end of the program, Registrar and Dean of School of Education Prof. Sarika Sharma presented vote of thanks. The role of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Dubey, Dean of School of Engineering and Technology and student Akshat Kant was important in organizing the program. On this occasion Deans of various schools, Head of the Departments, Teachers, Officers, Employees, Students, Research scholars etc. of the University were present.
