We should not run only for government jobs but we must think something big, something out of box. These were the words of Mr. Mrituanjay Mishra, Assistant Director, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India speaking in a lecture organised by Department of Tourism &Hotel Management at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarhon April 21, 2023. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof.TankeshwarKumar appreciate the effort and stated that such interaction of students with tourism practitioner is the true essence of Nation Education Policy, 2020. He said that central university through these events tries to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students.

Mrituanjay Mishrahighlighted various government schemes to promote tourism in country and discussed the required skill set by the industry in contemporary time. For tourism development, we must be proud of our heritage and culture while serving the tourists. To be good professional, students need to have detailed knowledge of the resources was his focus point. Prof.Ranbir Singh, Head of Department, elaborated the importance of practical exposure of students for their bright career. He stated that this interaction with industry professional is traditions of our department.He said that Mr. Mrituanjay Mishra, a very humble personality was very effective in conveying the message related to the need of punctuality, discipline and communication skills in budding professionals.Dr.VivekBalyan, who organised this lecture and welcomed the guest.Dr. Amit Mathur, Dr.Jitender Kumar, Dr.VikasSiwach, Dr. Anil Kumar, research scholars and all students of department were present in the lecture.
