Delhi State Haj Committee hosts the 110th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' at Jamia Millia Islamia

A large number of faculty members, non-teaching staff and students attended the event and listened to the Prime Minister's words with rapt attention.

New Delhi :- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi presented the 110th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' today. Addressing the audience, he talked about receiving several inputs from the people of India informed by very positive ideas in the context of 'Mann Ki Baat'. PM Modi spoke of the upcoming Women's Day on the 8th of March which, he opined, would be an occasion for us to pay tribute to women’s power for their transformative energy. He quoted the renowned poet Bharthiyaar who had spoken about the goal of global prosperity being realized only through granting equal opportunities to women. He lauded the contributions made by women from different walks of life who continue to attain new heights.

The Prime Minister particularly emphasized the contribution of women in villages and singled out the sterling performances of Drone Didis who have successfully demonstrated the intervention of women in the farming sector by enabling farmers to attend to their farming needs with the help of advanced technology in the form of drones.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the daily contributions of commoners in India who are continuously strengthening Indian tradition and culture. He underlined how 'Mann Ki Baat' reflects the collective strength of the country.
The 110th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' was hosted by the Delhi State Haj Committee at FTK-Centre for Information Technology of Jamia Millia Islamia which was attended by the Offg. Vice Chancellor Prof. Eqbal Hussain and other distinguished dignitaries. JMI facilitated the holding of the 'Mann Ki Baat' session as requested by the Delhi State Haj Committee (DSHC). The DSHC had invited Shri Tariq Mansoor, Hon'ble Vice President of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) as Chief Guest.
