CUH students attended training on 'Rice fortification' at NIFTEM

He also emphasized that such trainings enhance the knowledge of the students and create an environment among students to explore new opportunities in terms of enrolment in higher education, skill enhancement, and creating their own start-up.

Haryana :- Faculty members, P.G and Ph.D. scholars, Department of Nutrition Biology, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarhattended a One-day hands on training program on "Rice fortification" at NIFTEM-Kundli, Haryana. This training was organized by Fortification Innovation Hub- Centre of Excellence Food Fortification (FIH-CEFF) in collaboration with Innovation Hub for Rice Fortification at National Institute of Food Technology and Entrepreneurship Management, Sonipat, Haryana. Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, CUH has appreciated the efforts of the department to carry out such activities for the benefit of the students and also congratulated NIFTEM-K for conducting training on rice fortification. He also emphasized that such trainings enhance the knowledge of the students and create an environment among students to explore new opportunities in terms of enrolment in higher education, skill enhancement, and creating their own start-up.

Dr. Anita Kumari motivated and accompanied the students to attend the training programme. Prof.NeelamSangwan, Dean, SIAS and Director R&D cell and Prof. Kanti Prakash Sharma, Head (Nutrition Biology) have also appreciated the efforts of the department.Dr. Anita Kumari told that 37 students from Department of Nutrition Biology have attended the training programme to enhance their knowledge regarding the latest food processing and fortification technology.
