Haryana :- The Green Campus Clean Campus Club, UBA Cell, NSS, YRC , Department of Microbiology, and SOE are jointly organized a mega plantation drive on 12/09/2023. The students from different departments of the University participated in the event and each one planted one tree. The students took pledge to take care of the planted tree during their stay in the University campus. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar motivated the students (through a message) and requested all to help the university to increase the green cover in the campus. He told that the programme is being organized as a part of different initiatives started by UGC, AICTE and CAQM (Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas) to improve the environment. 

Prof. SunitaSrivastva started the plantation drive by planting a tree. Prof Surender Singh, Coordinator GC4 told that more 800 trees of native trees like pahadipapdi, Neem, Bakain were planted in the drive. He thanked gram panchayat JantSarpanch Ms. Kirti and the district forest department for arranging the plants.The CUH also organized plantation drive this year on 27/07/2023 where 1000 trees were planted. NSS, YRC, UBA (Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan)  played important role in organization of the programme. Prof. Dinesh Chahal, Dr. Anita Kumari, Executive engineer Mr.Amarjeet, AE Mr.Mukesh were present on the occasion.
