New Delhi. : PanditDeendayalUpadhyaya Central Library conducted a Workshop on Positive Psychology for Non-Teaching Staff members of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. Dr. Vinita Malik, Information Scientist, Central Library engaged the training programme and conducted the activity-based workshop for around 40 participants who took active part in the workshop.The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof.Takeshwar Kumar is encouraging the staff to attend workshops so that they learn new skills and use them in the work. In this regard, the Library organising series of training programmes for the non-teaching staff.
The program started with the deep breathing exercises for stress management. Various individual and group psychological exercises like SWOT Analysis, Mirror yourself were executed for boosting self-awareness and inner strength. The psychological aspects like positive thought process, role of positive psychology and daily practices to improve inner strength were also discussed. The University LibrarianDr. Santosh C. H., Prof. Parmod Kumar, Deputy Librarian Dr. Rajeev Vashistha, Assistant Librarians Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh and Naresh Kumar were also present in the event.
