Haryana: Green Campus Clean Campus Club & Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Central University of Haryana has celebrated International Biodiversity Day via online mode. The theme of International Day for Biological Diversity is 'Building a shared future for all life'.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor and chief guest of the day emphasized the need for conservation of birdlife in the campus and reiterated that it is our moral duty to take care of birds, animals, trees, food etc. He also emphasized that this day will be celebrated throughout the year in campus and launched photography competition on the theme “Know Your CUH Bird Friends”.

The main aim of this year-long event is to document the diversity of Birds in CUH campus. This competition is open for Faculty, Staff members and Students of the University. All the entries will be evaluated and five best entries will be awarded by the Vice-Chancellor.
