Mahenderagarh: Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is continuously fostering global collaboration among faculties from internationally reputed universities. As part of his initiative to elevate the Central University of Haryana to a global level, he has initiated several international collaborations.

In a significant development, Dr.RupeshDeshmukh, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology, CUH has been awarded the prestigious William Gamble Fellowship. He expressed his gratitude to Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, whose guidance and support made this achievement possible.

The William Gamble Fellowship, established in memory of William Gamble, principal of Dookie College in Australia from 1916-1921, provides an opportunity to work at the University of Melbourne for three months to exchange research ideas and teaching philosophies.

Recently, Dr.SajithaBiju, a scientist from the University of Melbourne, visited Dr.RupeshDeshmukh's laboratory at the Central University of Haryana. She worked on silicon transporter aquaporins, laying the groundwork for a fruitful collaboration between the two institutions. Through the William Gamble Fellowship, Dr.RupeshDeshmukh will collaborate closely with Dr.SajithaBiju and Dr.Dorin Gupta's research group at the University of Melbourne.

Last year, representatives from the Center for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Melbourne conducted an academic visit to the Central University of Haryana in Mahendergarh. Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar remains committed to establishing international collaborations to enhance knowledge exchange and progress together with the global community.

Dr.RupeshDeshmukh has received continuous support and encouragement from Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof.Sushma Yadav, and Registrar Prof.Suneel Kumar.Receiving this prestigious fellowship has brought immense pride to the university. On this occasion, Dr.Deshmukh stated that the fellowship will provide him with the opportunity to enhance his knowledge and experience at an international level, benefiting his department and students.
