New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday announced that those candidates who could not appear for the exam held on August 4 to August 6 2022, due to technical glitches, can give a retest scheduled on August 24, 25 and Aug 26 2022. Eligible candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official NTA website:  https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/

The candidates were alleging on social media that their exam dates have not been revised in the admit cards available on the NTA portal. Many aspirants have to suffer problems due to the chaos in the CUET exams as they got to know about the rescheduling of the exams after they reached the examination centres. This led to an outrage on social media.

An NTA official told The Indian Express that the exams will be held between August 24 to 26, while the students who had individual grievances and wanted a date concession will have to appear on August 30. The updated admit cards for these candidates are also likely to be released on August 21.

On August 4, the NTA had to cancel the second slot of the day 1 exam of CUET UG due to some technical issues with the server. “The question paper for the second shift of the examination could only be uploaded at 5 pm and the download at 489 centres could start at 5:25 pm, while the exam was scheduled to begin from 3 pm,” NTA officials told. The same problem continued on August 5 too and some centres suffered the glitch in other phases too.
