New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension of the last date for submission of the online application form for the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] 2026. The decision has been taken in response to multiple requests received from candidates seeking additional time to apply.
As per the official notification, CUET (UG) 2026 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between May 11 and May 31, 2026 (tentative). The examination will be held at centres across various cities in India and 15 cities outside the country, offering a single-window opportunity for students seeking admission to Central Universities and other participating State, Deemed, and Private Universities nationwide.
The online application process for CUET (UG) 2026 began on January 3, 2026, at the official website https://cuet.nta.nic.in
. With the latest extension, candidates now have more time to complete the registration process.
Revised CUET (UG) 2026 Schedule
Online submission of application form:
- Extended till February 4, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
(Earlier last date: January 30, 2026)
Successful final transaction of fees:
- Up to February 7, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
Correction window for application form:
- From February 9 to February 11, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
(Earlier scheduled from February 2 to February 4, 2026)
Candidates will be able to make corrections in the details submitted in their application forms through the online correction window available on the official CUET website during the specified period.
