Hyderabad - The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, has issued an official circular announcing the suspension of classes for all regular and part-time programmes on 04 February 2026. The decision has been taken to facilitate the smooth conduct of the EFLU Students’ Council Elections 2025–2026.

According to the circular dated 3 February 2026, all teaching and academic activities will remain suspended on the said date. However, the university administration has clarified that post-election work will be attended to on the same day. Any academic assignments, tests or evaluations scheduled for 4 February 2026 may be rescheduled by the concerned departments. 

The university has requested all Deans, Head of Departments, faculty members and students to extend full cooperation to the Election Commission for the smooth and fair conduct of the election process. The circular has been issued by the Registrar (In- Charge), EFL University, Hyderabad  and circulated to all concerned authorities and notice boards for strict complaince.
