Delhi NCR: The three-day International Conference on Smart Cyber-Physical Systems (ICSCPS-2024) was held from 12 to 14 September 2024 at Christ (Deemed-to-be) University, Delhi NCR campus. The conference was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), with a grant of ₹3,00,000 to CHRIST (Deemed-to-be University), Delhi NCR campus.
The conference was inaugurated by Fr. Jose CC, Vice-Chancellor of Christ University. Rev. Fr. Dr. Jossy George, Dean and Director of Christ Delhi NCR campus, Fr. Peter M. V., Coordinator of Student Services, Dr. Bosco Paul Alapatt, Associate Dean and Head of the School of Sciences (SoS), and Academic Coordinator Dr. Ashish Sharma were also present at the event.
A pre-conference workshop was held on September 12, focusing on emerging topics such as Data Analytics, Central Grain Analysis Laboratory, and Cyber-Physical Systems. A panel discussion followed, during which experts and participants exchanged insights.
Conference conveners Dr. Ramesh and Dr. Kamal stated that the event featured 55 research paper presentations, providing a platform to explore and discuss new research and innovations in the field of Cyber-Physical Systems. The conference collaborated with UNESCO, NTNU (Norway), and Perdana University (Malaysia), and received support from prestigious sponsors such as DST and SERB. Notable speakers included Professor Robin T. Bye and Professor Ottar Laurits Osen from NTNU, Norway, and Professor Kacper Pluta from Université Gustave Eiffel, France. The conference attracted global participation, with 360 research papers from 18 countries, and delegates from Norway, France, Italy, Oman, UAE, Singapore, and Malaysia, totaling 10 foreign representatives. The event featured sessions on Cyber-Physical Systems Architecture, Security and Privacy, Medical Cyber-Physical Systems, Networks and Communication, and CPS Technologies and Applications. Awards for the best paper and outstanding contributions were also presented to encourage high-quality research and innovation.
