Directed under the artistic mentorship of veteran theatre artist Sanjay Tuteja, the mega festival showcased a total of 12 children's plays, each delivering a mix of laughter, emotion, and strong social messages.

Held at the Samvet Auditorium of IGNCA, the festival was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary of IGNCA. Dignitaries present included IAS officer Ajay Garg and Dr. Prof. Richa Kamboj, Head of Kaladarshan Division, as Guests of Honour. One of the most heartwarming highlights of the festival was the play Punyashlok Ahilyabai, performed by children from Delhi's urban slum communities and directed by Yogesh Panwar. These children, coming from marginalized backgrounds, stunned the audience with their confident performances and sincere portrayals of historical characters. Their grace, discipline, and emotional intensity earned them a standing ovation from the packed auditorium.
The performance stood not only as a testament to their hidden talent but also as a powerful example of how theatre can become a bridge between underprivileged communities and the mainstream society, fostering inclusion and empowerment.

Closing Ceremony and Recognition
During the closing ceremony, all participating children were awarded certificates and trophies in recognition of their dedication and creativity. Festival Director Sanjay Tuteja thanked the audience, guests, parents, and theatre mentors for their overwhelming support and shared glimpses of upcoming projects by Udaan.
The festival concluded on a high note, having served as a nurturing ground for young minds to explore art, storytelling, and self-expression — proving once again that theatre is not just performance, but a life-changing journey for children
