CBSE Announces Results of Skill Expo 2025-26 Regional Events

“St. Johns School, Kollam and Delhi Public School, Gamma-II Noida Emerge as Top Winners in CBSE Skill Expo 2025-26”

New Delhi, :  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the winners of the Skill Expo 2025-26 regional rounds held in Madurai and Ghaziabad. The shortlisted projects from these events will now compete at the National Skill Expo, expected to take place in January 2026.

Winners from Madurai Region

In the Madurai event, schools from Kerala and Tamil Nadu showcased innovative projects under the theme of Technology & Innovation. St. Johns School, Kollam (Kerala) secured the first rank with their project “Sparsh – Voice to Braille Converter”, a device aimed at supporting visually impaired learners. The second position went to Reeds WLD School, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) for their project “The Last Root”. Meanwhile, Jawahar Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Chennai (Tamil Nadu) claimed the third rank with their project “Prinscribe”.

Winners from Ghaziabad Region

From the Ghaziabad regional event, Delhi Public School, Sector Gamma-II, Gautam Buddha Nagar (U.P.) won the first position under the theme Environment & Sustainability with their project “Eco Shield Ultrasonic Tiger Repellent System”. At the second rank, Army Public School, Gautam Buddha Nagar (U.P.) presented “Pyrosat”, while Mayoor School, Gautam Buddha Nagar (U.P.) shared the same second rank with their project “Shreshth Shram Yukti”, both under the Technology & Innovation theme. The third position went to Veda Vyasa DAV Public School, Vikaspuri (New Delhi) under the Health & Wellness theme for their innovative “Medicine Band”.

Next Steps

CBSE has confirmed that all position-holding schools have been informed separately through email, with details of student participants and their mentors. These winners will now advance to the National Skill Expo 2025-26, which is tentatively scheduled for January 2026.
