CBSE Directs Schools to Submit Class IX & XI Registration Data for 2025 26

Principals asked to ensure accuracy, APAAR ID linkage, and timely compliance with schedule

New Delhi. :  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular to all school principals regarding the submission of registration data for Class IX and XI students for the academic session 2025-26.

Highlighting the importance of accurate data for future board examinations, CBSE has introduced key changes this year, including the implementation of two board exams for Class X under NEP-2020, compulsory linkage of APAAR IDs, and the generation of Data Verification Slips for error-checking.

Principals have been instructed to convene meetings with teachers and staff responsible for data collection and uploading to ensure error-free registration. Corrections, if required, can only be made between 14th and 28th November 2025, after which no changes will be allowed.

Registration slips will be made available to schools after completion, which must be handed over to students for safekeeping.
