Bangalore: Bangalore University offers admissions to UG and PG courses in various fields where the students are allowed to pick the subject based on their preference. This university is well known for its quality of education along with its remarkable faculty. Bangalore University being the first university to reserve seats for the transgender sector offers UG, PG and PhD courses as well.
The admission procedure already began in the month of May and June. The selection process for the UG students is entirely based on the merit while for the PG students is based on Entrance test the University provides and for the PhD students is based on completion if their graduation degree from a UGC recognized university by obtaining a minimum of 50% marks.
Application form fee:
- For UG programmes is 400/-rupees for the general category, and for the reserved category a fee of 200/- rupees. For the integrated courses such as BA.LLB, the application fee is of 850/- rupees and for the reserved category the fee is of 550/- rupees
- For PG programs, the fees are 245/- rupees for the general category and a fee of 145/-rupees for the SC/ST category
The UG level courses in this university needs a bare minimum of 50% in 10+2. And at least a 50%average in their undergraduate level to obtain admissions for the PG level. A Master’s degree is compulsory for a research-based PhD degree.
Many courses require an entrance exam in addition to their merit-based admission. Candidates who have passed PGCET, GATE, KCET and UGC/CSIR NET.
The application and the payment process can be completed online. Last date to apply for Bangalore University admission is August 30, 2022.
