AILET 2025: Registration Fee Payment Deadline Extended; Exam Scheduled for December 8

Candidates can now complete their fee payment by 11:59 PM, securing their eligibility for admission to BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programmes for the 2025–26 academic year.

 

New Delhi. : The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has extended the deadline for paying the registration fee for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. Candidates can now complete their fee payment by 11:59 PM, securing their eligibility for admission to BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programmes for the 2025–26 academic year.

Application Fee Structure:

General (Open Category) ₹3,500
Other Backward Classes (OBC) ₹3,500
Scheduled Caste (SC) ₹1,500
Scheduled Tribe (ST) ₹1,500
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) ₹1,500
Below Poverty Line (BPL) Exempted

Eligibility Criteria for LLM Programme:

  • General Category: Minimum 50% marks in LLB or equivalent law degree.
  • SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Minimum 45% marks.
    (This is a reduction from the previous requirement of 55% for the general category and 50% for reserved categories.)

Updates on Test Centres:

NLU Delhi has announced that test centres in Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri will not be operational due to low registration numbers. Candidates who selected these cities as their first preference must update their test city preference for AILET 2025 on the official portal.
