The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Class 10 board exam results 2025 on or after May 20. While there’s no official confirmation yet, the trend from previous years points to a late-May release.
When to Expect the Results?

As seen above, CBSE tends to release Class 10 results in May—so it’s a good idea to start checking the official sites regularly from the third week of May.

How to Check Your Result Online:
- Go to results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in
- Click on the link that says ‘CBSE Class 10 Scorecard 2025’
- Enter your application number and date of birth
- Your marksheet will appear on the screen—download the PDF and keep a printout for records
What's On the Marksheet?
Your result will include:
- Student’s Name, Roll Number, Date of Birth
- Parents' Names
- Subject-wise Marks (Theory + Practical)
- Total Marks
- Final Result Status (Pass/Not Pass)
Passing Criteria
- To pass the CBSE Class 10 exams, students need a minimum of 33% in each subject. If someone falls short by just 1 mark, CBSE may provide grace marks to help them clear.
Accessing Marksheet via DigiLocker:
Every student will receive login credentials for DigiLocker where digital documents will be available. Here's how to download:
- Log in to your DigiLocker account
- Go to ‘Issued Documents’
- Look for your CBSE Class 10 Marksheet and Certificate
- Download and save for future use
Note: The marksheet is uploaded the day results are declared, while the pass certificate may take a few more days.
What’s New for Next Year?
CBSE has rolled out a revised curriculum for the academic session 2025–26. Starting next year, Class 10 students will have the option to appear in two board exams—one in February and another in April. This change aims to give students greater flexibility and reduce stress.
