ASN Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar-1 conducted Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for Middle Wing Students of the session 2017-18.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest of the Day, Dr. D.K.Aswal; Director CSIR- National Physical Laboratory; Guest of Honour Maj Gen M.K. Hada; Dr. S.K. Jena;Director, ICSI along with School Chairman, Shri. K.L. Luthra and School Principal, Ms. Sonia Luthra. 

The programme took an auspicious start with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and the members of the management followed by Saraswati Vandana. School Principal, formally welcomed the eminent guests and read out the School Annual Report. She outlined the school's achievement, events and activities corroborated with a self explanatory PPT. She in her address said that the school is engaging itself towards creating 'Responsible Global Citizens ' by following the UNSDGs  and enabling each and every student of the school to proudly represent their country anywhere in the world.

Students then presented an array of talent through their spectacular performances. The main highlight of the event was a mesmerizing ballet on the theme ' India- The Rising Power'. Through this beautiful ballet, the students showcased the development of India  in varied fields like education, invention, music, sports, women empowerment, Make in India, Swachh Bharat and Digital India.

The Chief Guest, Dr.Aswal lauded the performance of the students. He in his speech, said that India, transforming  into a Super Power, is a realistic vision which can only be actualised if the youth becomes a Super Power itself with a burning desire to do something for the Nation.

Guest of Honour, Maj Gen. Hada also congratulated the achievers for their exemplary performance throughout the year. He in his address urged the parents not to suppress the dreams of their children and guided the children to pursue their dreams passionately. 
Dr.Jena, requested all to apprise and upgrade themselves to be at par with today's youth.

The event not only made the audience delve into the grandeur of Incredible India but also commended the remarkable achievement of the students at large. The students were felicitated for excelling in Scholastic and Co- scholastic domains. They were awarded with Certificate of Merit, Trophies and Cash Awards.

School Chairman, Shri K.L. Luthra applauded the efforts of the achievers and motivated them to always aim for excellence through perfection in their cherished goals.

The event culminated with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms Sushma Kalia, Middle School Coordinator.
