International Computer Science Journal ‘PeerJ’ appoints JMI faculty as its Academic Editor

New Delhi. : It is a matter of pride for Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) that Dr. Khalid Raza, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the university has been appointed as an Academic Editor of PeerJ Computer Science Journal.  PeerJ is a prestigious publisher based in both San Diego (USA) and London (UK).

The PeerJ Computer Science is a prestigious Q1 journal having Impact Factor of 3.09 and CiteScore (Scopus) of 6.7. The journal mainly deals with Artificial intelligence, Optimization theory and computation, Bioinformatics, Computer aided design, Social computing, Adaptive and Self-Organizing Systems, and Emerging technologies.

Dr. Raza is a PhD in the area of Soft Computing and Bioinformatics from JMI. Earlier, he has been an ICCR Chair Professor at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He has contributed over 70 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals, conference proceedings, and chapters in the books by reputed publishers.

Dr. Raza has authored/edited four Books with reputed publishers like Springer, Elsevier, and CRC. Currently, he is supervising 4 PhD students. Dr. Raza’s research work focuses on the development of bioinformatics algorithms, computational intelligence methods and its applications in bioinformatics.
