Gujarat University Exams 2021 Postponed, New dates soon

Ahmedabad: Gujarat University Exams 2021 Postponed due to worsening of COVID-19 situation, New Dates to be announced Soon on the official website.

As per the latest update, the University of Gujarat – the largest university in the state, has decided to postpone the annual semester exams for all the students which were starting from next Monday i.e. 12th April 2021. The official circular released by the university says that the revised time table and date sheet for the deferred exam would be released by next week. Selection of the options will be opened for students shortly.

To avoid panic and uncertainty among the students, Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Himanshu Pandya addressed the students directly confirming that the GU Exam 2021 Dates will soon be notified. He also added that “The options and revised exam dates will be announced within a week.”

With rumours and speculation running rife, Gujarat University decided to release an official circular confirming the cancellation or postponement of the upcoming exams due to the prevailing situation. The circular says that “Keeping in view the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, all the exams starting from April 12 and on April 23, as well as those to be conducted thereafter, have been suspended till further announcement.” Other state universities, too, are likely to follow GU and postpone their exams.

The GU UG Semester Exams 2021 were to be conducted through both online and offline modes in the coming days. Around, 50000 undergraduate students from Gujarat University are to take-up the semester exams for Gujarat University in the coming days

Revised dates to be announced by next week via official circular on the official website of the university.
