New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important notice. It has postponed the UGC NET 2020 Examination will now be held from 24th September, 2020 onwards thi is due to some common candidates in both exams and the requests received thereof. 

According to information, the exam has been postponed as NTA is conducting other exams too on the aforementioned dates that are on September 16, 17, 22 and 23, 2020. As per the notice released by NTA, “In view of ICAR Examination AIEEA-UG/PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) 2020-21 being conducted on the above-mentioned dates, the National Testing Agency has rescheduled the dates of UGC-NET Examination, 2020. 

The candidates who were to appear for the exam from September 16 must note that now the exams have been postponed by a week. The details of the admit card would soon be released on The exact schedule of Subject-wise and Shift-wise details will be uploaded subsequently.” 

UGC would be intimating the candidates about the downloading of the admit card soon on The test would be comprising of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. Paper I would carry 100 marks questions and Paper-II would be carrying 200 marks questions. The exam is to be conducted in two shifts- the first shift from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
