Number of events planned by JNU for the Sep 2019

 

  • A series of the workshop is organized by Advanced Instrumentation Research Facility (AIRF) throughout the year to provide the highest level of services to the scientific community on different sophisticated instruments in biological/ chemical/ physical sciences.

New Delhi,  : Several events are going to be held in the Jawaharlal Nehru University in September 2019. On 3rd September, two events will be headed- first event titles, ‘Kannada Chair organizes a Tribute to Girish Karnad’ and other titles, ‘IERB JNU Organises a Poster making and Debate competition’.

The first event is about giving the tribute to late Girish Karnad, who was an Indian actor, film director, Kannada writer, and a Rhodes Scholar, who mainly engaged in drama and film work. The event includes talks on the aspiring life of him followed by a play named ‘RAKT KALYAN’. Hence, this is a story that shows how a vibrant, prosperous society is plunged into anarchy and terror. Another one is a poster making and debate competition organized by the JNU.

School of Physical Sciences is organising a Mathematical Seminar on 5th September, which is going to be headed by Shilpak Banerjee. On the same day IERB, JNU organises Teacher’s Day Annual Lecture by Dr. V.K. Malhotra.

From 5th to 6th September, AIRF organises a workshop on "Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy Based Lithography".

Moreover, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Central Library organises Free Live Authorship Workshop on 13th September. From 26th to 28th September, SCMM organises 30th National Congress of Parasitology & Global Summit on Malaria Elimination.

These are the umpteen events for September organized by JNU therefore, more to come in the following months.
