First Lady of The Republic of South Korea visits ASN School
New Delhi. ASN Senior Secondary School, MayurVihar-1, recently got the golden opportunity to host the First Lady Of The Republic Of South Korea,H.E. Mrs. Kim Jung-sook along with a team of Korean delegates comprising of Ministers, Ambassador of The Republic of South Korea. Ms Reena Ray, Secretary of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India was also present on this momentous occasion.
The First Lady of The Republic of South Koreawas given a warm Indian traditional welcome bythe School Chairman, Shri. K.L.Luthra;the Managing Director, Mr. Rajiv Luthra,the School Principal, Ms.SwarnimaLuthra, Staff Members and the Students.
The distinguished guests were enthusiastically received by the students representing diversified classical dance forms of India. A vivacious interaction with the tiny tots of the school in their classroom was the highlight of the day.Abeautiful Exhibitionwas also put up showcasing the amalgamation of the cultures of both the countries India and South Korea. Her Excellency was enthralled by the rich heritage of India and expressed that the legacy of warmth and goodwill continues. She interactedand appreciated the students for their delightful conduct, energy and intellect. She said students are the dream and future of the nation and they will play a key role in strengthening the bond between South Korea and India.
On this visit the Korean delegates launched the Educational App for students of Primary classes. They gave a classroom demonstration to the students. The Educational App was much appreciated by the students as well as the teachers for its practical and novel usage.
The School Principal, Ms.SwarnimaLuthra thanked Her Excellency and the delegates for their visit which will exalt the Indo Korean friendship between the coming generations. She expressed that their visit will always be a cherished memory for the staff and students of ASN
